Rorey Williams’ 25+ year career in Finance and Accounting began in the Banking Industry. His formative years at Bank of America laid the foundation of his current success as a consummate Accounting and Tax professional. After graduating from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Rorey launched his career in public Accounting. At CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, Rorey developed his tax, advisory, auditory, and business acumen competence.
Leveraging his developed skillset and urge for progressive growth, Rorey took his talents to Siena Corporation where he gained extensive expertise spanning audit, tax, and financial reporting predominantly in the real estate industry. Rorey’s empirical and analytical skills were a critical asset to the success in managing multiple small business platforms simultaneously. This became the initial stages in Rorey’s journey providing small businesses and individuals with superior Accounting and Tax Advisory services.
As a successful business owner of R.W. Accounting and Tax Services LLC, Rorey continues to meet the accounting and tax needs of corporations and individuals in the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia area for the past 12+ years. A Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) with the IRS, Rorey provides comprehensive tax preparation services, bookkeeping and accounting consultancy. His mission to help individuals set up small business accounts, incorporation of new companies, as well as managing company bookkeeping to reduce tax liability is his driving passion.
